New decisions taken by the government for MSME loans :-

Now loan can be taken under MSME without any security.

An allocation of Rs 3 lakh crore has been made by the government for MSME loans.

In this, the time between taking the loan and filling the first EMI, which is called the moratorium period, has now become 12 months.

Along with this, the eligibility has now been made uniform for industries in the manufacturing and service sectors.

Loan repayment period has been increased to 48 months. And credit guarantee loan will now be available at the rate of 100%.

In this way, now 48 lakh enterprises of the country can get the benefit of this scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for MSME Loan:-

Different lenders set their own eligibility criteria for MSME loan approval, which is necessary for each applicant to fulfill. Some of the common eligibility criteria which are common by all the banks are as follows –


Your business must be involved in either manufacturing or service sector.

It is necessary to come under the category of any one of the prescribed child, adolescent and middle class of micro, small and medium enterprises etc.

Application form

Identity Proof 

(any one from Passport, Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID etc.)

Address proof 

(any one of passport, lease agreement, trade license, telephone or electricity bill, ration card or sales tax certificate etc.)

Age proof

 (any one from passport, voter ID card and PAN card etc.)

Finance related documents for MSME loan registration:-

Some documents related to finance may also be required for registration of MSME loan such as –


You have to attach your last 12 months bank statement with the application form.

You have registered your business under MSME, its certificate is also required.

After this, the beneficiary will need his/her Proprietor(s) PAN card, as well as a copy of the PAN card made in the name of his/her company.

Apart from this, the businessman will also have to attach a copy of the balance sheet of his last 2 years profit and loss in the form.

Then the application can be asked to attach one copy each of your cell tax documents and city tax documents in the form.

If your business comes under MSME and you need a loan, then you have to apply for a loan by visiting the official website of one of those banks which provide MSME loans. After this, click on the government scheme through which you want to get MSME loan.

After this, the application form will open in front of you, where whatever information will be asked from you, you will have to fill it correctly and submit it finally. You will also be asked to upload all your documents in this form.

When you submit the form, you will be registered as an MSME. Then your registration number will be shown on your screen which you have to save.
